After the very successful opening versions, Spelfanaat Mechelen will be hosting their 3rd WPN Qualifier. This time, we will be doing a spectacular SEALED DECK. Take your first steps on the road to become the next Magic World Champion. The winner of the event will be invited to the LEGACY EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIP in Napels (Italy), and from there you can go to the PRO TOUR or even directly to the WORLDS.
The format that we will be using is Sealed Deck with the set Murders at Karlov Manor. Come and bring your enthusiasm (and your best Magic spirit) and battle it out against your follow players. There is room in our venue for a maximum of 48 players, fist come / first go.
Registration process:
Secure your spot for this tournament. Pre-registration is highly advised and the only way to be certain to get a seat.
1. Transfer the participation fee of €50,00 to the account of The Spelfanaat: BE70 0018 4801 7425. Mention your full name + WPN qualifier 10/02/24. Alternatively, you can also pay in the store of course.

For our social media exposure, we would like you to promote your attendance by writing “present” in the comments of the facebook event, or click on “going”. (this step is much appreciated so we can attract more players)

Food (croque monsieur, snacks & chips) and drinks are available in the venue. You are not allowed to bring your own drinks.
Prize structure (guaranteed minimum – more can be added on the day if we are for example close to the next tier of players. We strive to convert as much of the revenue to price support as possible)
With 12+ players:
• Winner gets the invite for the LEC in Napels + a FOIL Expressive Iteration + promo Explore + 2 play boosters.
• Runner-up gets normal Expressive Iteration + promo Explore + 1 play booster.
• 3rd – 8th place get normal Expressive Iteration + promo Explore.
• Rest gets promo Explore.
With 16+ players:
• Winner gets the invite for the LEC in Napels + a FOIL Expressive Iteration + promo Explore + 6 play boosters.
• Runner-up gets normal Expressive Iteration + promo Explore + 4 play boosters.
• 3rd and 4th place get normal Expressive Iteration + promo Explore + 2 play boosters.

• 9th – 16th place gets promo Explore.
With 20+ players:

• Each extra player above 24 will add at least another 4 play boosters to the prize pool.
If we hit attendance of at least 36 players, there will be special prizes raffled every Swiss Round. (No, not anymore in the top-8 playoffs)
